In Y3 this term, our children are learning about the Hindu festival of light ‘Diwali’. Today, we designed and created diya lamps with clay which we will then paint. We learned that diya lamps were lit to guide Rama and Sita back home and are now traditionally lit to celebrate Diwali. #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth #prideandjoy
