Our Y4 children have been learning about the digestive system within their science topic and to bring this to life, the classes experienced the journey of a cracker through the digestive system! The cracker was ‘munched up’, mixed with orange juice to represent stomach acid before being passed through a pair of pop socks and a trainer sock to demonstrate the small and large intestine. The children were delighted and disgusted when the ‘waste’ plopped out of the end!  #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth #prideandjoy
