HOUSE COMPETITION

HOUSE COMPETITION

To supplement our competitive sports, where and when possible, we also hold house sports competitions involving all children. At the end of certain units, where this is possible, children will compete in their houses (within their year groups) to earn points for their house. For example: In Y6, where the children complete a Tag Rugby unit, in the final week, we will hold a mini-competition across the classes to put the children’s skills & topic knowledge to the test. These are designed to be fun but also allow those who are a more competitive or have demonstrated a real talent, to challenge themselves in a competitive environment. For those who are less-competitive, they get an opportunity to progress their skills against their year group in a fun and supportive environment.
