Our Y6 children have loved studying bread this week, finding out about the history of bread, tasting different types of bread, understanding the ingredients for bread and how yeast reacts with sugar and warm water to make it rise. Our final lesson today was making bread from scratch, with the children kneading it and then shaping it into their very own bread roll.
