“What is soil made from?” is the investigation which our Y3s have been taking part in this week. We learnt that soil is essential to our everyday life and without it there would be no life on earth! We observed and dissected different soil samples to see what we could find. We were interested in seeing tree roots, plants, bugs, rocks, fossils and grass to name but a few. We made sure to wash our hands thoroughly after our investigation, but loved being hands-on scientists! #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth #prideandjoy
