To support the World Cup and enjoy a bit of football fever, each class joined a friendly (no money exchanged) sweepstake, with a country per class.  Mrs Stainsby's Y1 class drew England and, although we did not win, the children learnt all about competition, good sportsmanship and being valiant and gracious in defeat. #nurtureandgrowth #prideandjoy #engageandinspire
