This week, our EYFS children had an amazing visit from Zoo Lab kindly funded by the PFTA.  In class the children had read ‘Room on the Broom’ and  during the Zoo Lab visit, we heard a variation of this story ‘Zoo on the Broom’.  We met all the animals from the story including a tarantula, a corn snake, a hissing cockroach, a giant land snail and a tree frog.  The children were able to touch and stroke some of the animals and we learnt lots of facts about them too!  We are very grateful to our wonderful PTFA for funding such a fantastic enrichment experience.
