Our Y5 children have been working on a collaborative project for the Festival of the Moon at Stamford Endowed Schools. This will take place in January to coincide with the lunar eclipse. We have been provided with scaled balls to make Earth, Mars and Uranus, but today we tackled Saturn (minus its rings). All the Y5 children were involved, taking it in turns to papier mâché a very large beach ball! It was a messy job and will take a few more layers but they have done an amazing job so far!
