Last week, our Y2 children enjoyed a visit from 'Edith Cavell' as part of their topic about a significant local hero. She taught them all about nursing in Victorian times and showed us medical equipment from then. The children enjoyed pretending to operate on each other, and applied bandages and slings. #prideandjoy #engageandinspire #nutureandgrow
