Last week, our Y6 children enjoyed an all-day Maya workshop where we were fortunate to be joined by ‘Lucy the Archaeologist’ who shared her expertise and passion for the subject. We explored Maya artefacts where the children enjoyed spotting the various Maya Gods. We also had practical activities such as archaeology where we discovered further artefacts, Maya pottery and dance as well as exploring Maya maths and symbols. #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth #prideandjoy
