Today our Y1 children enjoyed a STEM morning, led by local Perkins/Caterpillar engineers. The children were shown how ideas are transformed into everyday essentials. They then were tasked with working in their teams to design and make a bridge which had to be wide, strong and tall, spanning a pretend river. #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth #prideandjoy
