Our Y5 pupils have recently taken part in an all-day workshop exploring Protected Characteristics.  These fun sessions, funded by St Michael & Exeter Trust were run by The Conversation Stamford, using the arts to engage children on this important topic.  The workshop provided a safe place to talk about unconscious bias and stereotypes and used a local artist and a poet to help the children celebrate differences.  It encouraged conversation around race, disability (including neurodivergence) and gender stereotypes.  #prideandjoy #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth
