Last week, our Y5/6 children enjoyed an inspirational visit from Joe Roebuck, a former world and Commonwealth champion in swimming, Joe also competed at the 2012 London Olympics – having failed to qualify for the previous four Olympic Games - so spoke to the children about his motivation and the importance of never giving up on a dream! Joe also spoke about always trying to push yourself and not settling in your comfort zone, which can often be the easiest option. We hope Joe's words inspired the children and could lead to some of them being a champion one day! #engageandinspire #prideandjoy #nurtureandgrowth
