Year 6 Adventure Residential - PGL

Each year, the Year 6 children have the opportunity to go on a residential trip to PGL at Caythorpe (near Grantham) which usually takes place in the fourth week of Year 6.  It lasts four days and the children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor activities, including rock climbing, high ropes, canoeing, quad biking and raft building, to name but a few. The purpose of the trip is to promote independence, overcome challenges and develop interpersonal skills.

We hold a PGL session after the Year 5 welcome talk in September for parents to learn more about the trip and have the opportunity to ask questions before booking a place for their child. It is a wonderful experience that the children thoroughly enjoy and is the topic of conversation for some time afterwards.
