e-safety

We need your help to keep your children safe on the internet.  The school’s internet access is tightly controlled but when children access the internet from home the same restrictions do not necessarily apply.  To teach your children to keep themselves safe we provide briefings  from external advisers and provide information sessions for parents.  It is possible to download free K9 web filtering software which is recommended click here.  One of the best sites which is used in school with the children is Think U Know click here.  Our E-Safety Working Party have also recommended the following website - Be Internet Legends click here.

We subscribe as a school to Alan Mackenzie’s e-safety adviser service.  Alan provides a regular magazine ‘Ditto’ to keep parents and staff abreast of e-safety developments.
